Summer Outdoor Painting Group Information 2024
Running from the end of June to the end of September join us at different locations to take in the atmosphere and enjoy some creative time together.
We kick off on Thursday 9 May so fingers crossed the weather doesn’t deter our first outing!
If you haven’t tried ‘plein air’ art before, now’s your chance. It’s open to all members, and their guests, of all abilities so please put the dates in your diary, come along and enjoy a fun day out at some lovely venues.
This year, we’ve added a few more Saturdays and hope this will open up the opportunity for more folk to join in. We’ve also set up a What’s App group ‘BDAG art group outdoor painting’ and would encourage you to join. This enables you to tell us if you’re ‘lost’ or can’t make it or if we need to make any last-minute changes due to weather etc.
To add yourself, just contact Ruth Ruthshort0@gmail.com or Sheila on Sheilmrtn@icloud.com
We meet at 10am and leave at 3pm but you do not have to be there for the whole session.
Please bring your own equipment and a packed lunch. All locations have parking and toilets.
We ask those attending for a £1 contribution as a charitable donation for venues or towards a bottle of wine for hosts at private venues.
Any problems or queries contact Ruth Short on 01424 254566 or 07552 616010 LOOK OUT FOR OUR RED MARKER ARROWS SHOWING WHERE TO MEET AND PARK.
